St. Clair High School Robotics Team

Coach: S.P. Eisele

Mission:  To foster an interest in Robotics and other forms of technology and to offer students a chance to compete against other teams.

2017 Robofest

This year we are fielding eight teams from the middle school consisting of over thirty students.  Good luck!  Team 55-1, Saints Robotics 1, won the first place at the regional qualifying tournament in Rochester.  After scoring two perfect runs, they beat out other teams with a fast time.  Congratulations!

2016 Robofest Results

This year the middle school teams consisted of 16 students ranging from 5th to 8th grade. Team 55-1, the GeckoBots received a 6th place at the qualifying competition in Waterford.  They were the last team to be selected to advance to the Michigan championship where they place in a 5 way tie for ninth place. Only missing a perfect round by 7 points, the GeckoBots were placed on a wait list for advancement to the World Robofest competition. The team was invited after a team from overseas could not attend.  The team worked hard to better their time to have a chance at the Worlds and fought hard to finish in tenth place overall.  Not bad for a team that literally came from behind.

2009 Robofest Results

A change in the game format this year prompted the St. Clair Robotics Teams to reconfigure into smaller teams.  The use of one robot per team this year caused us to break up into smaller groups and thus we had four team at the high school level and two teams at the middle school level.  After the regional competition, two of the high school teams advanced to the World Robofest held at Lawrence Technological University.

 2008 Robofest Results

With several new team members this year, the Saints Robotics team had a difficult time completing the mission.  They worked as hard as possible to make the robot work but were unsuccessful in their attempts.  The competition held this year at RESA in Marysville gave them the experience they need to come back strong next year.
