Welcome
to the SCHS Electric Car Team website!

About Our Team
The St.
Clair High School Electric Car Team was started as a class project in the 1998-1999
school year. A group of fifteen students worked for six months to design and
build the first SCHS Electric Car. The following year, the students designed and
started the construction of a second car. In 2001, the Electric Car Team was
formed as an after school activity. In 2006,
there were two cars constructed, the 312 car and the 191 car. Both were taken to
the races across the state.
The team currently has one car, 312, and
attends races each year at
Berlin Raceway in Marne, Michigan. While racing against other schools, our electric car has
to last for a one hour race and finish with the most laps completed. There are
many rules and regulations that must be followed in order to enter and race in
the races. Every year we work to make the cars just a little bit better!
The
Electric Car Team runs fully on donations and other money that is raised. The
donations will go toward building materials and race fees. To make a donation,
please visit the Donations page.
The Electric Car Team was started and
is still run today by
Mr. Scott Eisele.
We thank him for his continued
dedication to the Electric Car Team.
THANK YOU!
