St Jude's Math-a-Thon will run from Jan. 30 -Feb. 16. Sixth grade math students are encouraged to get sponsors. The Math-a-Thon Fun Book is a required assignment (25pts) and is due on or before Feb. 16.
The sixth grade math curriculum is designed to develop mathematical reasoning ability. This is accomplished by building upon the skills that have been previously taught. These skills include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Students will apply these skills to solve more abstract problems.
