STUDENTS:  Students that are interested, there will be 3 ACT Prep Workshops being offered at SC4 in the M-TEC Bldg on Feb 4th, 11th, and 18th.  Each session is $25 and you can register by calling 810-455-4261.

Also, there will be an Open House at Tech on Thursday, February 9th from 5:30 to 8:00.  The Counseling Office has brochures if you are interested.

Attention students who have failed a class----E 20/20 credit recovery classes will be starting soon, please see your counselor for more information.

NHS STUDENTS:  There is a mandatory meeting in the Media Center on Tuesday, February 7th.

PENNIES FOR PATIENTS:  Attention 3rd hour classes. Do you want to win some donuts?  Next week starts the Pennies for Patients contest.  The 3rd hour class that collects the most change will win donuts!  All money goes towards fighting lymphoma cancers. 

NHS will be selling valentines and suckers to be delivered to your 4th hour class on Valentine's Day.  Send your friends and teachers valentines in support of NHS!! 

WILLY WONKA:  Special thanks and congratulations to the many students that auditioned and applied to be part of the Spring Musical.  Mr. McCulloch, Mr. Van Dyke, and Mr. Uhrig are all very pleased with the great response and talent here at Marine City High School.  Cast and Crew postings will be up at the end of the day. 

PARENTS

STUDENTS in grades 9 - 11, and parents who are interested in a presentation on transitioning from high school to college are invited to attend the "Parents, Kids and College" presentation on Tuesday, February 7th at 7:00 p.m. in the MCHS Media Center.  Juniors will receive a college survival kit during the presentation.

8th GRADE ORIENTATION FOR STUDENTS & PARENTS:  MCHS is having an orientation for all 8th grade students & parents on Wednesday, February 15th at 6:00pm in the cafeteria.  The focus of the orientation will be on scheduling of classes and transitioning from middle school to high school for the 2012-2013 year.

SANP:  The next Senior All Night Party meeting will be on Monday, February 13th at 6:30pm in room 415.
